Court-Ordered Therapist
Court-ordered therapy often involves some client accountability, but involves no ongoing monitoring by the courts except as to attendance. Such therapy can be based on past and present behaviors, but focuses primarily on the future of the individual or couple as it relates to some court proceeding. Because of the ongoing contact with attorneys and report-writing by consent of the client, Dr. Petrich does not bill insurance for these sessions. She will assist the client in obtaining reimbursement in limited cases where it may be available.
